Privacy Policy

Eyedle does not collect any personal data. The extension runs entirely on your device. Nothing is sent to us, to any server, or to any third party.
What we collect
Nothing. We have no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking, no cookies, no accounts, and no remote logging. We do not see which sites you visit, what you type, or how you use Eyedle.
What stays on your device
Eyedle uses Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local) to remember your preferences, such as:
- Whether the extension is enabled
- Blink frequency, duration, and randomization settings
- Squint settings (threshold, blur, recovery)
- The list of sites you have disabled Eyedle on
- A local count of how many blinks have been triggered today
All of this data lives only in your browser. It is never transmitted off your device. Uninstalling Eyedle removes it.
Permissions
- storage — to save your preferences locally.
- activeTab / tabs — to know the hostname of the current tab so you can disable Eyedle per-site from the popup.
- Host access (all sites) — required to render the blink and squint overlay on the page you are looking at. Eyedle does not read or modify any page content beyond drawing its own overlay.
Third parties
None. Eyedle has no third-party scripts, SDKs, ads, or external requests.
Children
Eyedle is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect data from anyone — including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
